Been away a while.........

A recent project I've produced has been inspired by an artist called Stuart McAlpine Miller.

He uses subtle tones of paint to create transparencies. With the use of realistic figures and cartoon backgrounds he produces images that look computer generated. As a salute to him I have used the subject matter of TV & films from my childhood. I have painted 3 images in acrylic which show the genres that attracted me as a child. He uses oil, I use acrylics.

The Western:- The Lone Ranger, Virginian, Bonanza, Alias Smith & Jones etc....

The Spaceman:- Star Trek, Lost in Space, Forbidden Planet, Alien Trilogy, 2001....

The Spy:- Man from Uncle, Mission Impossible, Get Smart, Bond...

Reading FC - Champions.........again!

Just created a new image to celebrate Reading FC's return to the Premiership. This is the 4th illustration of this type I have produced over the years. Available as prints and a greetings card.
